Upcoming Events

Due to COVID-19, many public events have been cancelled and will be rescheduled in the future. During this unprecedented time when our children are online more than ever before, we are excited to bring our Prevention trainings to parents and teens virtually. We remain committed to fighting sex trafficking and protecting the next generation. We look forward to coming together for future events.

Sex, Lies & Media Training - For Adults

Thursday, November 19th at 5:30 PM Eastern

Sex, Lies & Media Training helps parents, teachers, youth workers, etc., learn about how predators and recruiters can approach innocent youth online through social media. It educates adults on the red flags to look out for, how a predator can manipulate and exploit a child, and how to protect the next generation from this crime. Gain practical tools to keep your kids safe online and learn how to facilitate conversations about this  issue with them.

1 out of 9 children are approached by a predator online. With kids online more than ever before due to COVID-19, it is vital that parents are educated and empowered to protect them.

Parents who complete this training will receive an invitation for their kids (6th-12th grade) to view a virtual Sex, Lies & Media training created just for them.

Once you have registered, a link will be emailed to you to attend this training.

Kirkwood's Virtual Christmas Event

November 14th - 21st 2020

Kirkwood's Virtual Christmas Market

For over twenty years, Kirkwood has hosted the Annual Christmas Market, a community-wide holiday tradition. Over the years, various partnering charities have collectively raised over $200,000 for their missions. To honor this tradition, we welcome you to our virtual Christmas Market featuring 30 local, national or international nonprofits. At our Market, you will learn about each organization, who they serve, how new volunteers like yourself can help, and how your dollars support their work. Also, you can let loved ones know that you are thinking of them by making donations in their honor. This year’s Christmas Market will be open all week, allowing us time to share the giving spirit! Find your joy this season in supporting amazing organizations and making a difference!

By register for a Selah Freedom event, you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, read more here.
